NOD32.. the BEST anti virus?

Oct 1 2005. NOD32 Antivirus is a superb anti virus solution created in Slovakia by ESET. NOD32 has always been a great antivirus, with perfect ITW detection rates and great heuristics.

Make that super heuristics. I can guarantee that the heuristics getting even better now. Antivirus expert Michael St. Neitzel recently joined NOD32 (earlier this year). Michael heads a design team which is improving NOD32 antivirus and making it the best antivirus for many home users. It is also not very intensive on computer resources meaning you don't notice any slowdown!

I have talked about detection with Michael years ago in my job and have seen some of his ideas and work. Michael was the author of the FREE antivirus Gladiator AV - he is a fantastic designer of detection mechanisms. He also has extensive virus knowledge through many years of experience, and hard work.

Recent NOD32 improvements can be noted by checking the ESET home page. Version 2.5 is a fabulous antivirus and hard to put behind KAV, so I will not. This really is an outstanding protection system and I do not hesitate to recommend NOD32 to most home users as the best anti virus.
