03.12.05:
New article - a look at trojaned warez (cracks, keygens and more). A serious threat, and executed simply by zipping up a few files.

29.11.05:
Great article by Eugene Kaspersky.

26.11.05:
BAGLE Worm update many new downloaders detected by Kaspersky. The F worm was brand new when in came another new sample (one I received at work). Even more were received showing some big activity is going on.

KAV were already detecting it already as Trojan-Downloader.Win32.BAGLE.g This downloader looked like the same downloader just slightly repackaged. Many such attacks can be done, or simply recompile with a few changes. KAV are reporting therefore, that the controllers are updating their botnets.

23.11.05:
Worm SOBER.X
Very important. The worm is still spreading wildly, has been for days. PLEASE read Technical details section #23 on the link WORM SOBER.X above. This explains how SOBER and other worms trick users - why people click. There are many variations so reading this explains just how sneaky the bad guys are. This worm is mostly working well because of this tactic. Emails like this are called social engineering.

22.11.05:
ProcessGuard blocks Sony Rootkit
ProcessGuard was designed for prevention of rootkits and more! it has long since been a way to prevent a rootkit. The "Sony rootkit" is no different to other software of this type, it can be blocked easily.

19.11.05:
KAV detect XCP (Sony Rootkit)
Very important. The WEB uninstaller first offered by Sony opens up even more problems if you used it ! The controversy swings another way.

It does get worse, their other CD copy protection technology has a similar flaw in the removal tool. Unbelievable..
The other protected CD's in detail.

07.11.05:
Sony Rootkit?
If anyone with ProcessGuard has tested to see if it blocks the install of this "rootkit", please let me know.

06.11.05:
Trojan Droppers
A look at a trojan installer or "dropper" and antivirus handling and response.

05.11.05:
ProcessGuard and Limited users
A nice little guide from dog of Wilders and Wilders. Great!

25.10.05:
Version 3.200 of ProcessGuard is almost ready! We like this version. All will be revealed soon..

20.10.05:
Lack of time to update the site.. lots of work at DiamondCS, and busy setting up a new version of this site.

10.10.05:
Trojan.PSPBrick - Don't use hacks for Sony PSP. See the Wilders page.

08.10.05:
